Bluey's Big Play Fort Worth reviews
ELF is definitely a worthwhile evening out.
I thoroughly enjoyed the top-notch cast and great orchestra of the production. The story and music were totally engaging, and the evening flew by. While the movie wasn't one of my favorites, I'd see the stage production again, much like "White Christmas," which I also enjoyed as a stage musical much more. Kudos to the director for including a small touch showing "the times they are a changin'" with a same-sex couple at the very end, walking with other couples in a loving way, arms interlocked. It was subtle but all for the better. I highly recommend this show. Especially liked the fact that the main love interest was cast as an interracial couple. It's refreshing to see our society depicted honestly on a stage. Thank you!
